Mutiny Bikes in Texas

Dallas/Fort Worth TX from Mutiny Bikes on Vimeo.

Beautiful edit, Joe Simon really does a great job of making his edits gracefully pretty.

Manual vs Automatic Transmissions

An often debated topic in the automotive world, and one that I have a clear stand on: drive an automatic if that’s what your into, drive a manual if that’s what you’re into and that’s that. But, for those of us who love the control and intimacy that you get with a manual gear box (not sequential, dual clutch, paddle shifter bullshit but a real manually shifted transmission with a clutch, shift linkage and an actual shifter/shift knob), it seems that our days are numbered 😦 and thats a damn shame as no other transmission set up (imo) can provide the engagement that three pedals and a shifter can.

How Headers Work

Definitely an interesting video. I actually didn’t know how exactly headers worked but I did know there was some science to their shape, besides just looking beautiful.

Fun Times in Japan

Some Australians take a trip to Hokkaido and do a bunch of seemingly random stuff. Hot cars scattered throughout which is what kept me going, it’s a pretty long video lol. Basically, I’m in love with Japanese car culture.

A little spoiler to the end of the vid, “It doesn’t really matter what kind of car you’ve got because ultimately, its all about the people you meet along the road.” I agree, and that can definitely be generalized to many other hobbies out there, thats part of what makes them fun sometimes.

On a more serious note, I’m keeping Japan in my prayers. I can’t even begin to imagine what thousands of Japanese families must be going through right now.

Touge Drift

Another cool vid from drag times. Love the S15.

Sneakers

Anyone whose known me for longer than just college knows that I was addicted to sneakers all throughout highschool. But, ever since I started college I’ve pretty much abandoned my sneaker fetish. All years of college I stopped checking on releases, sold a good deal of my sneakers and stopped wearing all of them. I’ve stuck to wearing beat up pairs of vans for college and just today it occurred to me that maybe I should start wearing them all again. In celebration, every time I wear a pair other than my beat up vans, I’ll post a pic for those who care lol. Maybe I’ll get back in the groove and just maybe I’ll reignite a fun hobby.

History and Comparison between NSX-R and F430

Definitely learned something new as well as gained newfound respect for Ferrari. Let’s not forget that it’s also sick to just see Tsuchiya-san blast through the touge in a NSX-R and a Ferrari. Something about those paddle shifters ticks me off though lmao, I want more control!

M3 with a V10 from an M5?

Yes please!

Foggy Day in Ohio

So earlier today it was mega foggy out, could barely see down the road. But, it also made for, what I thought, some good scenery. Everything seemed so serene, quiet and chilled out.

Drifting in Moscow

This is a pretty cool video in my opinion, just saw it on canibeat. It’s filmed on public roads and while I don’t condone illegal street racing, I must admit it’s pretty cool and these guys definitely looked like they knew what they were doing.

Wiz’s Newest Single-The Race

Ah, what can I say? More fire from the man.

Slept good last night

Slept good last night 🙂

Sleep

Mac Miller-K.I.D.S.

Go get that! Just got it and am about a third of the way through and I was rather impressed to say the least. It’s rare that I get hooked on the album right from the intro and this mixtape did just that. I thought I was setting myself up for disappointment though but to my pleasant surprise the fire kept coming haha.

This is the song I’m up to, have liked all the songs up to this one and this one is chill too. I get hyped when I hear new artists that are like exactly what I like to here.

Japanese Hibachi in Ohio

So me and Liz decided to head to Ohio to visit her parents for my Spring break. Sounded like a good idea to me…get away from the city and chill for a little. It’s so quiet and relaxing out here.
First thing we did was head to this hibachi place, did some research first though and apparently in the US we often refer to it as “hibachi” but it’s actually teppanyaki style. Either way it was good food!

Hibachi

Large flames galore!
