Integra Type R and Civic Type R
Definitely a beautiful pair of cars, just read the feature over at Honda Tuning Magazine.

Although one can’t deny the beauty of these beasts, I hate how convoluted the laws are around a RHD vehicle. Now I’m guessing these are two legit, more or less, unadultered type Rs but if they’re being driven here, stateside, I highly doubt their 100% legal. I would go as far as to say that at some point some underhandedness went down in order for them to at least seem legal.
I did at one point think about having a RHD civic, the best way I could think of doing it was getting a front clip from a type r and basically cutting my own car in half and sticking the JDM front clip on. That idea was quickly shot down when I realized the likelyhood that is probably unsafe especially if the job happened to be shoddy. To this day, the only totally legal and safe way, that I know of, to have a RHD car is to wait for the car to become a “classic” (25 years or older) and then import it to the US that way. Check
